Symon Carter is a naturally creative and intuitive practitioner who brings both construction-style precision and deep holistic awareness to his work. Passionate about using his hands to build, create, and heal, he combines a practical mindset with a strong connection to wellbeing, mindfulness, and body awareness.
Having walked through his own transformative life experiences, Symon understands how to hold space for others with compassion, safety, and genuine care. His personal journey through trauma, recovery, and self-discovery inspired him to explore spiritual healing and massage therapy, leading to the creation of Hawaiian Fusion with Symon — one of Adelaide’s leading Hawaiian massage experiences.
Before becoming a professional massage therapist, Symon worked extensively in community services, supporting vulnerable groups and housing the homeless, as well as volunteering with Lifeline, suicide prevention, and drug and alcohol mentoring programs. He also spent years in the building and construction industry, most recently as a project manager. After sustaining multiple injuries through physical work, he discovered the incredible healing power of massage for rehabilitation and recovery, sparking a lifelong passion for bodywork and healing arts.
Falling in love with Ka Huna Massage and Lomi Lomi Massage, Symon was drawn to their flowing, heart-centred movements inspired by traditional Hawaiian practices — a full-body massage that promotes deep relaxation, emotional release, and balance of mind, body, and spirit.
